Industrial leak detection systems report the presence of water, hydrocarbons, and other liquids. These sensors are often buried next to oil and gas pipelines, especially in areas where leakage could cause environmental damage or where the pipeline is exposed to possible damage. They are also used in server farms or network rooms where moisture can cause damage to computer equipment. Telemetric has designed interfaces for some of these leak sensors, allowing them to be connected directly to a Telemetric MicroRTU. The leak data can then be passed wirelessly to the customer web site and automatic user notifications can be sent via cellular text messaging.
